As our Quality Assurance Lead and Release Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our Research and Development team. Your passion for providing the highest quality products contributes to our world-class level of customer satisfaction. As the voice of our customers when it comes to quality, you will measure, report and communicate the quality of our product to stakeholders. As part of the Release team, you will organize and validate release activities to ensure we are delivering a supportable product.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a Quality Strategy to other QA and Developers across multiple Scrum teams
  • Collects metrics and reports to stakeholders the current state of quality for our product
  • Work alongside Product Management to understand requirements and align them to our Quality Strategy
  • Organize and deliver final work products for customer consumption
  • Utilize modern automation tool to increase personal and team velocity in regards to quality activities

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-10 years experience successfully leading robust software development teams with a demonstrated track record on technically complex and demanding projects. Experience delivering in an agile development process.
  • 9+ yrs. experience in quality assurance delivering software products
  • 2-3 yrs. experience leading other team members
  • 1-2 yrs. experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCity
  • 3-5 yrs. experience with automation technologies such as Selenium
  • 3-5 yrs. experience with an Object Oriented programming language such as Java
  • 4+ years working within an agile environment and using work management tools such as Jira
  • Familiarity with test case management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Oracle

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with HDFS systems like Hadoop or HBase
  • Familiarity with testing distributed systems
